The Parent Project: Keeping Kids Safe

The Parent Project helps teach parents the skills for raising difficult teens and dealing with problematic behavior. 

Topics include how to deal with drug and alcohol use, how to manage conflict between you and your child, steering teens away from negative peer influences and destructive behavior and how to set expectations and standards. 

The class is presented by members of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

The first six weeks (Jan. 20 to Feb. 24), class hours are 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; the last four weeks (March 3 to March 24), class hours are 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
