This is a one-minute snippet of Wednesday's Board of Trustee meeting, during which the trustees decided not to discuss major financial matters before them.

Twice during the meeting, Trustee John Alpay  The first item involved the , which resulted in increased class sizes by 1.5 students and shortened the school year.

The second item, captured in the audio tape above, was the  for the next school year.

This is the first thing I've ever heard from Alpay and immediately the word usurper comes to mind. This we gotta pass it before we know whats in it kind of mentality is not acceptable. Has this budget been properly reconciled to ensure it doesnt have any hidden earmarks that might benefit those that wont allow a discussion regarding its merits or demerits. Perhaps denying discussion prevents questions from being raised

Penny it seems the audio clip isnt working?? I was really interested in hearing this so called shut down of the discussion, which i have not heard for myself yet. Any help??
