Mom of Bullying Victim to Address Parents
Daniel Mendez killed himself after reportedly being bullied in 2009.
An anti-bullying workshop is scheduled next week at San Clemente High School with the mom of the San Clemente student who took his life after being bullied in 2009.
Anna Mendez, author of If These Halls Could Talk: The Daniel Mendez Story, will host a Blue Ribbon Week seminar at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at in the SCHS Triton Center.
Mendez will discuss her son’s story in hopes of preventing bullying. The seminar will cover strategies and recognizing the warning signs.
