According to the school's ranking information, SCHS has a 98-percent graduation rate and 93 percent of those graduates are college-bound.
The average ACT score is 23.3 and the average SAT score is 1607.

Corona del Mar, Newport Harbor, Fountain Valley, Los Alamitos, Edison in Huntington Beach, Huntington Beach, Tesoro, Trabuco Hills, Laguna Beach, San Juan Hills, Mission Viejo and Aliso Niguel high schools also made the list.
