The Exchange Club is organizing its annual Semper Fi Golf Classic Tournament, this year set for Oct. 29.
The seventh annual tournament and dinner helps raise money for Marines in Camp Pendleton, 70 percent of whom live in our communities. They attend our churches and coach our children's soccer teams and are involved community members who also serve our country at home and abroad.
The money raised from the tournament will support local organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for service personnel and their families: none of the proceeds will be filtered through any national organization.

Golf and diner costs $200 each, $45 for dinner only. Teams of three will be assigned a U.S. Marine to golf with.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and the scramble-shotgun start is at 11 a.m. Raffle prizes, hole-in-one prizes and a silent auction will be available during the fundraiser.
