Receiver Nick Pasquale will be honored at Saturday night's UCLA football game, its .first since at the Rose Bowl since he was struck by a car and killed.

A moment of silence will be held before the opening kickoff for the game against New Mexico State. A jersey will be presented to Pasquale's father Mel, mother Laurie and brother AJ by coach Jim Mora and athletic director Dan Guerrero during the break between the first and second quarters next to the 36, Pasquale's number, that will be painted on the field.

T-shirts with 36 on the front will be sold at UCLA Store locations at the Rose Bowl Saturday and online at UCLABruins.com. All proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts will go directly to the Nick Pasquale Foundation.

Blue towels with 36 printed on them will be distributed at entrance gates.

Pasquale was hit by a Mercedes-Benz sedan about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 8 on Camino de Los Mares, west of Calle Nuevo, in his hometown of San Clemente, Orange County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

The 20-year-old Pasquale was a walk-on redshirt freshman who briefly played in the Bruins' season-opening 58-20 victory over Nevada Aug. 31 at the Rose Bowl.

"He had such an impact on our team"' Mora said. "Those guys loved him
and respected the heck out of him."

The Nick Pasquale Foundation will support athletes who demonstrate extreme effort and leadership on their teams, charitable groups influencing sports and athletes and athletes needing grants or scholarships.
