Tony Hawk's Twitter Hunt Sends Fans Searching in San Clemente

By Michelle Mowad

Pro skateboarder Tony Hawk hosted a scavenger hunt on Twitter this weekend with more than 80 treasures hidden throughout the U.S. and a few abroad.

Several prize packs, which included skateboards, were hidden in Orange County, including San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa.

Hawk tweeted out hints throughout the day on Saturday.

He sent treasure hunters to Brick in San Clemente,  during the "Twitter hunt," which he hashtagged #THTH2014.

"The Big Bad Wolf couldn’t blow this place down. Come out back and your treasure will be found," he wrote.
