Rotary and Tritons Team up to Gather Food for the Hungry

The annual food drive starts this Saturday at Ralph's and Albertsons.

The following is a press release from the Sunrise Rotary:

The San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club and the San Clemente High School Interact Club will be holding their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive at Ralph's Market on Camino Las Mares on November 12th and 19th from 8am to 4pm and at Albertsons Market on Pico on November 19th.

The food drive benefits Camp Pendleton Marine families, Laura’s House Shelter for Women and Children and Family Ministeries.

San Clemente has always been very generous with helping those who need a little extra help at the holidays and this year will prove to be no exception. Items
needed include frozen turkeys, vegetables, gravy, stuffing, pies, and more. Cash
donations will be used to buy more food for the families. A list will be available to
any shoppers coming to the market for the food drive. Shoppers can then decide
what they might like to purchase and donate to the Rotarians at the markets.

We appreciate any and all donations. The food will be organized by Rotarians
into 100-200 meals and will be distributed to representatives of the three
organizations to be delivered before Thanksgiving.
