SC Relay for Life Grosses $23,000+ to Fight Cancer

Cancer survivors and their families walked the track Saturday to raise money to fight cancer.

San Clemente High School hosted the annual Relay for Life at Thalassa Stadium Saturday to raise money to fight cancer.

Volunteers, cancer survivors and their families walked the track and set up camp on the football field, raising more than $23,000 and counting to fight the diease that affects so many.

According to the relay website, the top donor teams are Footin' for Family & Friends, raising $6,200; Team In-SPEAR-ation, raising $2,807; and Team K3, raising $1,956,
