Cabernet, Movies and Football

Fun times are ahead this week in San Clemente, unless you're travelling Calle del Cerro.

1. Don’t forget to avoid del Cerro: The city will be shutting down the westbound lane on Calle del Cerro between Avenida Pico and lower Vista Montana daytime hours, starting today and lasting two weeks.

2.Wanna learn all about cabs (cabernets, that is)? For $95 you can sample 19 different cabs, dine on cheese and learn all about this hearty grape at The Cellar.

3. Friday night lights are here: The Triton football season kicks off 7 p.m. Friday at home against Long Beach Jordan High School.
