Dance! Read a Book! Drink Wine!

These are just some of the activities going on this weekend in San Clemente.

1. The book sale to end all summers: The San Clemente Friends of the Library Book Store is hosting an end-of-summer book sale today and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They promise “boxes upon boxes of books will be brought out for this sale.” All proceeds fund SC Library Programs and book purchases.  For more information visit our website @ http://www.sanclemntefol.org/.

2. So you think you can (learn to) dance? The San Clemente High School dance team will be hosting a kids dance clinic from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at San Clemente High School’s gym for children of ages 5-11. The cost is $50, which includes a clinic T-shirt, healthy snack and concert performance. Pre-register at www.schsdance.org  to reserve your child’s preferred T-shirt size or contact Nicole at (949)488-9920 with any questions.

3. Feel you have the Great American Novel in you? The Writing Loft is offering free critiques during its open house Saturday. See if you have what it takes. More information here.
