The San Clemente Civic Center

<p>The San Clemente Civic Center is home to Council Chambers and the administrative organs of the city of San Clemente.</p> <p>Located on Avenida Presidio, perched above El Camino Real, the building is also home to San Clemente Police Services, a branch of the Orange County Sheriff's Department which contracts with the city.</p> <p>The civic center site is also host to the Christianitos Monument, commemorating the approximate location of the first Christian baptism in Southern California by Spanish explorers.</p>
