The surf team is recognized in the area, as is the football team, which plays home games at the stadium on campus. The marching band was invited to play the prestigious National Memorial Day parade in 2011.</p> <p>The  curriculum at SCHS runs the gamut from automotive industry training to the International Baccalaureate program for more academic scholars. With about  100 teachers and thousands of students, the school is one of the larger high schools in the Capistrano Unified School District.
