Born and raised in Orange County, San Clemente resident Brenda Miller has dedicated the last 5 years to making San Clemente more bicycle and pedestrian friendly, especially for kids en route to school. In that time, the City has its first Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan in the works. Notably in early 2012, the City Council made Orange County history by uanimously declaring, "San Clemente's Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan shall . . . comply with the letter and spirit of California's Complete Streets Law, thereby creating a balanced multimodal transportation system for all."
She graduated from UC Irvine as a double major in Spanish and Biology and has a JD in law from Franklin Pierce Law Center in New Hampshire. She is certified as an instructor by the League of American Bicyclists.
