WATCH: Nuclear, City Officials Respond to Angry Crowd

Nuclear Regulators and San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station officials explained important safety lessons learned by the industry from the Fukushima Daiichi disaster in March.

Many protesters were angry at the format of Tuesday's several-hour-long meeting to discuss with officials the lessons learned from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster after Japan's March earthquake and tsunami.

San Clemente City Council organized the meeting in response to concerns about the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station after the Japanese disaster.
