CRIME REPORTS: Screaming Transient Calls 911, Minors Shoot Fireworks

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 3:49 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a reckless driver in the 500 block of Camino De Estrella. According to the report, a woman was seen driving recklessly in the Sears parking lot after she attempted to return an item to the store. The woman appeared to be upset because she could not return the item.

At 2:56 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1300 block of Pavoreal. The report stated that a man in a dark Chevy Suburban was water ballooned by two minors. Deputies met up with one of the minors parents who was reportedly being uncooperative. 

At 12:33 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to conduct a welfare check in the 100 block of Trafalgar Lane. According to the report, the informant stated there was a pregnant woman who was using some kind of narcotics. There was no report of an arrest.

At 11:58 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance near the Camino La Pedriza and the Calle Centinela intersection. According to the report, the informant noticed a series of soda and beer can which were taped together in the middle of the street. 

At 10:58 p.m. Sunday, deputies assisted firefighters in the first block of Via Pacifica. According to the report, firefighters assisted and transported a woman to the hospital from taking too many pills. The woman was unconscious but still breathing.

At 9:39 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a firework violation in the 300 block of Presa. The report stated that a group of minors were shooting off big fireworks in the middle of the street. 

At 8:50 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Victoria. The report stated that a local transient woman known for screaming at passers-by called 9-1-1 about people doing dope and requested that police arrested them. 

At 7:27 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 100 block of Avenida Pico. According to the report, a man wearing a green t-shirt was siting on a bench near the Ole Hanson Beach Club yelling obscenities. 

At 4:48 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to assist a citizen in the 600 block of Via Golondrina. According to the report, there was a disturbance between two neighbors. One of the neighbors sprayed the other neighbor's dog with a hose and flooded the inside of his residence. 

At 8:38 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a burglary near the Camino Mira Costa and Calle Guaymas intersection. According to the report, the window of a red 2010 Toyota was shattered near Mira Costa Park. The informant also reported that the car alarm had been going off.
