CRIME REPORTS: Ice and Chocolate Milk Tossers

The following are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 1:11 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a vandalism in progress in the 200 block of Calle Del Juego. The informant reported someone had thrown cartons of chocolate milk at her home for the past three days in a row.

At 12:50 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a non-injury traffic accident near the Calle De Los Molinos and Avenida Pico intersection. According to the report, a white Toyota Tundra and a white Honda Odyssey had collided. The woman driving the Odyssey was reportedly threatening the informant and refused to give her information.

At 10:49 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 400 block of Avenida Granada. The informant witnessed several subjects tossing ice from the second floor of the Cabrillo Reef Gate Condos at people on the beach. According to the report, the subjects has also tossed ice the previous day.

At 8:48 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1200 block of Colina Rodante. According to the report, a group of six men were giving a marked security guard a hard time and refused to provide the guard with their access key to the a pool area. 

At 8:38 p.m. Sunday, dispatchers reported a 911 hang up in the 100 block of Avenida Victoria. According to the report, a woman was heard screaming on a pay phone and was suspected to be local transient woman known for such outbursts. The call was made near Catalina liquor.

At 8:16 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported illegal peddling in the first block of Courte Estante. According to the report, two male minors were detained by police for yelling and screaming at each while they were soliciting door to door. 

At 6:45 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a drunk driver near the El Oriente and Avenida Las Flores intersection. According to the report, the informant reported a man who left his sober living home smelling of alcohol as he drove away in a white mini van. The vehicle was possibly a Chrysler or a Dodge.

At 6:17 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. According to the report, an eight year old boy was in surgery at the San Clemente hospital because he reportedly shot him self with a BB gun. The nurse was concerned because the boy and his father had conflicting stories.

At 11:27 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported hearing gun shot fired near East Avendia Palizada. Five gun shots were reportedly heard coming from the Old City Plaza. 

At 9:40 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a drunk in public near the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. According to the report, a skateboarder in a dark hoodie was seen drinking a beer in public.
