CRIME REPORTS: Kid Fist Fights and Threatening Bike Riders

Here are various crimes pulled from the San Clemente Police Services log over the past few days.

At 4:22 p.m. Thursday night, a 27-year-old man was arrested on the 200 block of calle Frontera. Police said the male already had a warrant out for his arrest, when he was caught, allegedly intoxicated and vandalizing property. He in currently in custody with a bail amount of $30,000.

At 1:55 p.m. Thursday, police were called to investigate a person down in a apartment complex on the 3100 block of El Camino Real. There was a male transient passed out on the floor and the caller was unsure about what to do. 

At 7:29 p.m. Wednesday night, police responded to a disturbance on the 1600 block of El Camino Real. An ex-employee of Ocean Auto Sales was drinking at Knuckleheads and kept running over to the business to scare customers. Police made no report of an arrest.

At 5:42 p.m. Wednesday night, a caller reported a disturbance on the 300 block of Cristobal. The caller said two male minors were fighting in the street and were surrounded by 15 other subjects. It was reported they showed up in multiple vehicles and were loitering, drinking and smoking in the area before the fight. 

At 2:23 p.m. Wednesday police responded to a disturbance in an alleyway near Florencia and El Camino Real.  A man in his 40‘s rode a bike into the California Cigar Company and was knocking things over and refused to leave when asked. The male was becoming threatening so the reporting party called the police. There was no report of an arrest.

At 1:54 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a drunk driver at the off ramp of the I-5 freeway and Avenida Pico. There was a sliver Range Rover swerving all over street.

At 8:53 p.m. Tuesday night, a caller reported a prowler from the 200 block of Via Malaga. The caller said they could hear a cell phone ringing and could also see a light coming from their backyard. Police made no report of locating a prowler. 

At 7:44 p.m. Tuesday night, a caller reported a disturbance on the 200 block of Avenida Lobeiro. There was a male playing loud music from his black Chevy Tahoe. When he was confronted the male stated that he was a local, and could play his music as loud as he wants to. 

At 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, a caller reported a reckless driver on the 1300 block of Felipe. The caller said his neighbor has been driving erratically and has a history of driving under the influence. The caller was especially concerned because there were a lot of kids playing in the street. 

At 9:32 a.m. Tuesday morning, a man was arrested on the 400 block of Avenida Del Mar. The man had a DUI warrant out for his arrest. He has since been released from custody.
