CRIME REPORTS: Man Upset Over Taco Threatens Shooting, Skullcandy Burglarized

At 7:48 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from theoffice on the 700 block of El Camino Real reported a possible burglary in progress. One of the windows of the building had been broken out.

At 12:14 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported vandalism in progress near the Via Turqeza and Via Zafrio. Several subjects were seen breaking walkway lights on the corner of the street.

At 10:36 p.m. Monday, a caller reported receiving threats in the 900 block of El Camino Real. The informant appeared to be a worker at Taco Bell and was concerned when he received a call from a man who threatened to return with handgun because he was upset over a taco order. 

At  7:49 p.m. Monday, police conducted a welfare check on Calle del Pacifico. Police were checking up on a 2-month-old-baby who was recently seen with bruises on her face. According to the report, the baby’s father in a known alcoholic and the mother is a known drug user.

At 4:25 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Del Gado Road. A group of six minors were skateboarding in a private community and became confrontational when asked to leave. The minors were reportedly shouting at an elderly woman who lived in the neighborhood. 

At 4:16 p.m. Monday, police arrested a 52-year-old-woman in the 1200 block of El Camino Real. The informant was calling from Holly’s Tires and said an ex-girlfriend had just slashed the caller's tires at North Beach Storage. A woman was taken into custody, and there was no set amount for bail. 

At 10:04 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1800 block of Avenida Salvador. According to the report, there were 15 people  drinking outside a residence and were being noisy. 

At 9:01 p.m. Sunday, a report of a weapon being brandished was made in the 1100 block of Calle Puente. The caller was at Max Berg Park when a man waved a handgun at her. The woman said the man was in his early 20s and appeared to be a “gang type.”

At 6:29 p.m. Sunday, police arrested a 58-year-old-woman in the 1300 block of Calle Valle. The woman had previous warrants and charges and was detained with two men.  The woman was taken into custody, and bail was set for $15,000. 

At 11:56 p.m. Saturday, police conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Avenida Palizada. Police assisted the informant with a friend who was suicidal. The informant's friend was a woman in her early 40s and was threatening to take bunch of pills.

At 10:40 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the first block of Vista Encanta. There were reports of a man in his 40s hitting his girlfriend and other minors in the residence. There was no report of an arrest.
