CRIME REPORTS: Peanut Chucker, Bong Rips

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 11:25 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance near the North La Esperanza and Avenida Presidio intersection. The report stated that a man was yelling obscenities at citizens from his bicycle. The subject was nearing San Clemente High School. 

At 9:45 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance near the South El Camino Real and I-5 freeway intersection. The informant reportedly witnessed a group of subjects pushing and hitting each other. One of the subjects was pulling a suitcase. 

At 7:17 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 300 block of Camino De Estrella. The informant reported he was being stalked by his ex-girlfriend who parked in a gold Chevy SUV the Izza Pizza parking lot. The man was picking up his current girlfriend and did not want a fight to break out.

At 9:07 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to investigate a person down in the 3100 block of Avenida Del Presidente. The report stated that an intoxicated transient woman and lacerated her chin from tripping over her dog's leash. She was transported to San Clemente hospital for treatment. 

At 11:39 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to conduct a welfare check in the 1700 block of Avenida Estacion. The report stated that a drunk man was seen fondling himself as he stumbled and yelled obscenities around the North Beach area.

At 9:22 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 500 block of Camino De Estrella. The informant was reportedly disturbed by a female transient who was throwing peanuts at his head. The woman proceeded to yell at people who did not give her money. 

At 6:58 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a drunk driver near the North El Camino Real and Mariposa intersection. The report stated that a driver of a white Ford Club wagon was seen swerving all over the road. They were last seen turing left onto Mariposa from El Camino Real. 

At 12:59 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 900 block of Avenida Vista Hermosa. The informant was reportedly concerned about two pit bulls that were running loose on a playground.

At 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a stolen vehicle near the Camino Vera Cruz and Avenida Pico intersection. The report stated that a 18-year-old man with a warrant out for his arrest stole a black Chevy Silverado. 

At 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to assist with a medical aid in the 2100 block of Via Aguila The report stated that deputies left a 57-year-old woman who had overdosed on pills under the care of San Clemente hospital. 

At 2:51 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the Calle Guaymas and Calle La Veta intersection. The informant reportedly witnessed a group of minors smoking illegal drugs out of a bong at Mira Costa park.
