If the Music's Lousy, Punch a Band Member

At 4:14 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Escalones. The informant reported that her 52-year-old ex-boyfriend broke into her residence and climbed into bed with her.

At 10:13 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 100 block of Calle Redondel. A man was watching the informant's neighbors with binoculars from a black Towncar. 

At 6:44 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported an intoxicated person in the 2400 block of El Camino Real. Police detained a transient man who was allegedly drinking alcohol inside a laundromat.

At 12:28 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a weapon being brandished in the 900 block of Calle Amanecer. The informant saw a man wearing a gun holster and bulletproof vest inside of a business. The man arrived in a silver Corvette.

At 2:01 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a fight in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. A 25-year-old man arrived at San Clemente Hospital with bite marks all over his arms. The man had reportedly gotten into a fight near Goodie’s Tavern.

At 8:49 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Avenida Del Mar and El Camino Real intersection. There was live music at the Cellar wine bar and a man punched one of the band members. 

At 7:11 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 1200 block of Calle Sarmentoso. Several minors were smoking marijuana near Bernice Ayer Middle School. 

At 10:18 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported vandalism in progress near the East Avenida Cornelio and El Camino Real intersection. Several men were seen throwing objects at the Stewarts Surf Shop building.

At 10:02 p.m. Tuesday a caller reported vandalism in progress in the 900 block of Calle Amanecer. Someone threw a brick and splashed paint on a truck. 

At 9:21 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported hearing a single gunshot fired near the Camino Vera Cruz and Avenida Vista Hermosa intersection.
